ABOUT
Leana has more than 25 years of experience working as an architectural technologist. Starting out on the drafting board for an Edmonton based drafting and design firm and quickly moving into lead in house drafting positions for two Edmonton home builders spanning 6 years. In 2003 she ventured out on her own and never looked back.

We at LNDD absolutely love what we do. Creating spaces for clients to live, work and play. From cottages to expansive custom homes, additions and renovations to shops, garages and garden suites.
We make every effort to provide clean, easy to read, well documented drawings from concept design through to working construction drawings.

Technology has changed a lot in the past 25 years as we've progressed through hand drawings to rudimentary 2d cad drawings to full 3d modelling software. These changes have allowed us to help our clients see the spaces we are creating together before any construction begins. This makes for easier decision making and a smoother construction process.

DRAFTING & DESIGN SERVICES
Our design process in three steps walks you through your home design from the initial consultation meeting to final construction drawings.
CONSULTATION MEETING
We provide free consultation meetings either in person, virtually or by phone. Depending on the scope of the project and our clients preferences.

CONCEPT DESIGN
Preliminary concept design drawings include basic floor plan layouts and a 3d model of the home. We take into consideration the location of your new home on your property as well as the overall design of the home; incorporating your wishes into the design to the best of our ability. Preliminary drawings prove useful in helping our clients make design decisions and can also be provided to suppliers, contractors and builders for cost estimation.
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
Working construction drawings include 3d views of the home, exterior elevations, foundation plan, floor plan layouts, electrical layouts, cross sections, details and notes as required for permit application, supplier estimation and purchasing and on site construction.
